A gorgeous tree that will burst into flower in mild spells from autumn to spring. We had one at my last workplace and it was a constant delight through dreary winters. I bought one for my parents and they loved it too.

Yes there are winter flowering cherries in Regent's park London. When I did the RHS course our tutor told us about a story in the London evening standard claiming they were another example of global warming. He wrote to them to explain that they always flower in winter I don't think they published his letter though.
