Crocus and tête-à-tête bulbs in pots

I’ve potted crocus and tête-à-tête bulbs in terracotta pots. My question is where should I store them over winter. I have them out in the open at the moment but with the heavy rain we’ve had they are looking quite wet. I have put gravel over the top. Would it be best to place them under my potting bench or do they need light?  Many thanks

    They won't be bothered by rain. I've never protected any bulbs in pots apart from tulips because they can't take excess wet. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
