Recommendations needed for a Paraffin Heater?

Hi, I have a 8x6 Greenhouse and wanted to know if anyone could recommend a suitable paraffin heater? Seen mixed reviews on what are supposed to the best buys! Having an electric heater isnt possible. Thanks Gary

Parrafin is very expensive at £7 for four liters it may be cheaper to use LPG or propane/butane

I used to have Valor paraffin heater in my parents greenhouse.
The smell was awful, it didn't keep the frost at bay, the windows had a thick film of smoke deposits on them and there was condensation everywhere  - apart from that it was ok :)
I agree propane/butane is a much better, safer and healthier idea
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
  • I tried and failed to use a paraffin heater a few years ago. Same as Pete above even when tweaking the wick every hour in an evening it was recycled before the season ended.
