Email offers

Does anybody buy any of the offers that gardeners world send by email? One of them, 12 dianthus for £6 interests me. But I've never heard of the company You Garden. I know its only £6 but their reviews are very mixed. Any experience out their either of this particular company or the offers in general?

Hi @B3. The company is called you garden, I'm guessing they are a retail shop rather than a nursery. I'm a bit of a sucker to email offers😞.

@Biglad, the thing is i dont actually have any space for 12 dianthus😂 but i still want to buy them!

I am always tempted, have the room but never buy plants on line unless from a reputable nursery who I can go back to if I am not happy.

You know what they say - if an offer sounds too good to be true, it usually is 

Very few of these things are any use, and you often don't get what you expect. Tiny plants or plugs etc. If you have the time and knowledge to care for them, I expect it's ok, but otherwise, better to buy one good plant that you really want, from a reputable supplier.

Quick update. I bit the bullet and ordered these, also ordering 2 banana plants on a buy one get free deal from the same place. Order arrived within 3 days. And I'm pleasantly surprised by the plants. Yes the dianthus are small plugs, but they are healty and will pot on easily. The bananas are approx 2 ft high and in leaf. So 12 dianthus and 2 x bananas for £20.👍
