moving plants

I want to move a standard rose and a cordyline . when Can I do this?
I also want to repot two belle of woking clematis. When is the best time to do all this?

    I know nothing about roses, but this is a good time of year to move most plants. Are you moving them out of the ground to another location in the ground? If so, just make sure you have a decent rootball when lifting them, and ideally, have the new planting hole ready. They plants should be well watered first if they're in a dry spot, and then well watered after re planting. 
    Re potting clematis can be done any time. Same basic rules as the other plants, and keep well enough watered until dormant   :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
