Foxglove/Digitalis advice please.

I have grown a number of Digitalis Candy Mountain from seed recently and the plants are doing well.  I have them in pots in an unheated conservatory but would like to know:
a) can I leave them in a sheltered spot in the garden from now until spring and;
b) can anyone advise the cause of the white patches that are starting to form on some of the leaves (see photos).
Many thanks,
Dennis

    Nice little plants. You can certainly put them outside. It might be best to just give them a few days of out in the day and in at night, as they'll have been a bit cossetted.
    Even tough plants are better with a few days to acclimatise at this time of year.  :)

    There's a wee bit of leaf miner damage there, but nothing to worry about.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Thank you, Fairygirl for the information and advice.  Much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Dennis
