Lemon-scented stranger

Afternoon folks,

This chap is in my sister's garden, bookending a raised bed. She doesn't know what she bought and I haven't got a Scooby! It has a strong scent of lemon.

I've been wanting to have a chop at it but have been restrained

coronilla Glauca"Citrina"?

I think you might be right @Hostafan1, although the flowers on mine don't have that droopy feel.

Sorry to be difficult but doesn't look right for Coronilla...

Droopy yellow racemes of pea like flowers,trifoliate, scented....Genista canariensis looks a better match.
