Pansy issue?

How long should the pansy seeds take before they start giving out flowers and thickening up? I'm fairly new to the gardening lark but these almost seem stretched to me,
These have been in a conservatory on the windowsill since propogation, any advice would be great thankyou.

They’re fine, nice little plants, not stretched, that’s how they are.  
Pot them up individually, they’ll thicken up on their own and flower for you in the spring.

Thanks for contacting, I'd heard mixed predictions saying they should be flowering within 6-8 weeks of them coming out of the propogators, makes more sense for them to be flowering in spring time,

Depends what time of year you plant them ... pansies really need a minimum of six hours of good sunlight to encourage them to flower. 

Have you got a cold frame or something you can rig ip to give them a sheltered spot outside once they’re in their own pots?

Yes I have a cold frame, shall keep them in there?  I'd like them to flower ASAP I thought they might be done for Christmas and then issued as presents. These are about 3 - 4 weeks old.

If you keep them in your house they may flower for Christmas but I doubt it if they are outside.
