Garden design course recommendations

I am currently trying to choose between the British Academy of Garden Design and an RHS approved course through HCC. I really like the look of the former, but I can find very little in the way of reviews etc.

I thought I'd put the feelings out to see whether it's considered a better idea to go with industry-recognised RHS courses if I want to make a career out of it?

All advice welcomed! 😊

  • Why not look at the Society of Garden Designers and see which qualification most of the registered designers hold? The RHS courses are geared towards horticulture. I know nothing about the British Academy courses but friends have had successful careers after studying at Merrist Wood and Inchbald.

^^^ I would second that. The qualifications held by SGD members is a good indication.
