Garden design
Hi. I have a stone sundial on a 2' x 2' paving slab in the middle of my lawn. I would like to plant something around it to offer interest. I wonder if my fellow gardeners had any ideas for me. Thank you

Bulbs and hardy geraniums would look nice I think.

Erigeron Karvinskianus - flowers for ages and very pretty as an edging plant; doesn't seem to mind being troden on!!

I’d go along with Sam. Erigeron Karvinskianus would look very pretty, is hardy & has a long flowering season.

Daisies, from “day’s eye” because the flowers open in the morning and close at night.
Apophthegm - a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
