Hi, I'd be grateful for any tips, my order of 9cm potted Delphiniums, Armeria Maritima and Geranium Vision violet has arrived, saying ready to plant...the weather is very wet and I do wonder if they are actually ready to go in the ground? My thought was to keep in the pots and protect overwinter but anyone got any thoughts? Many thanks

Think you are right but I would repot with fresh compost and a slightly larger pot if they are well rooted.

I would wait for spring to plant them out as they are small plants.  If they were larger (2litre pots) then I would plant straight in the garden now.
