Is it safe yet to remove mesh?

Hi all,

I havnt seen any cabbage whites for a few days now. Is it safe to remove my mesh do you think?

    Unless you need the mesh elsewhere, I'd say 'No'.  It's not doing any harm where it is and keeps the risk element low.

    Less worry about the cabbage whites, and now time to worry about the pigeons.

    I'm still picking the odd caterpillar off my broccoli but the cabbage white peak has long gone here (up norf).

    Leave it on unless you like feeding pigeons.
  • Whites still in plenty here so the net should stay on even though it may not look great.
    Agree about the pigeons.

    I've seen some cabbage whites today, on my nasturtiums. Not bothered though because they're getting to the end of the season, and I'm only hanging on to them to get some seed pods.
