Should I nurture this or dig it up?

Please can someone tell me if this is of the Nightshade family, it's appeared in one of my pots. Thanks Valerie

    Yes. Black nightshade ...solanum nigrum

Up to you, but bees like the flowers, so I leave the odd one or two which appear in my garden (they are annual.)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thanks both. If bees like it then I will leave it alone, not that I've noticed any on it yet.
  • I have one or two of those growing in my garden. They are easy to remove if no longer needed, not invasive or anything like that. I keep them for the bees 🐝 and because I find them pretty. They don’t require any care, come back every year and disappear in the autumn.
