stranger in the veg bed

can anyone identify this thing sprung up in the veg bed?   small vine thing with 5 - 8 cm pods thanks

    Looks like a bean of some description (maybe a broad bean). Have you grown any in that bed? 
    Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    I'd have said bean of some kind too, but I'm wondering if it's from an everlasting sweet pea? A long time since I've grown those so I can't remember what the seed pods look like.
    What foliage is there @Maggie jones?
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • Yes thank you its a Rat Tail radish grown for its pods so its supposed to go to seed
