What should I do with my gladioli now?

Novice gardener here!

I have a few gladioli planted in a raised bed which have recently finished flowering. I saw some advice that I should cut back the stem (but not the leaves) when the flower has died off which I did and now the leaves are beginning to turn yellow.  As more of the leaves begin to turn yellow and die  should I then cut back the stem and leaves and leave the bulb in the bed over winter or should I just do that now?

Thanks for your help!

I leave mine to die back naturally. The bulb gets fed through the leaves so you get a better dispay next year by leaving them alone.

They are not reliably hardy in some of the UK, so the bulbs should be dug up and stored some where frost free until next Spring.
