Indoor palm - leaves turning brown black

hallo everyone,
hope you’re all ok.
Please could I ask your advice on my indoor Palm - possibly a parlour palm, because the leaves are going dark brown to black in patches.

Please could I ask your advice on my indoor Palm - possibly a parlour palm, because the leaves are going dark brown to black in patches.
I had the palm next to an east facing sunny window with light filtered through voile. I’ve now moved it to a shadier spot but it’s not improved.
Does anyone know what is causing this?
Im only watering when soil is completely dry, but it is with tap water.
