What’s fresh hell is this..?

In amongst the lawn. Lawn is only 4 months old, this stuff is thicker and grows super fast compared to the rest of the lawn. 

What is it..?
is it a problem..?
how to I treat/manage it..?
can it be removed..? 

Any help greatly appreciated
