Plant ID please

I was given this plant by a friend and told it needs heat (so is kept in my sun lounge) but is also very thirsty. We do not know what plant it is! She was given it by her son from China (I think)

Somebody suggested Impatiens or Angelonia - but looking those up, I don't think it is either!!

Can anybody on here help please?

    Looks a bit like the annual balsam I used to grow - possibly
    The flower buds are almost identical to busy-lizzie, so some sort of impatiens

    PS - it may have spider mites - I can see webbing
