Jade plant? Succulent?

Hi all,
Beginner here so seeking advice! Is this little jade plant looking ok? Looks a bit droopy....!
Is the pot big enough?
Where should it be placed?
Soil always looks dry yet i don't want to overwater it!
Thanks
Sarah

Do the leaves feel firm or soft?
Are there drainage holes in the pot?

It looks like a money plant to me, maybe needs a slightly bigger pot but they don't need much watering.

Thsnks, i think i might get a bigger pot with drainage holes today. I have another succulent that needs a bigger pot too.

Definitely a bigger pot with drainage holes. They go soft if they're short of water. Once it's recovered, the soil needs to be kept fairly dry but it does need some water. I wouldn't water it until the top couple of inches are dry. It needs to be watered more in the summer and rarely , but not never, in the winter.

  • That's brilliant thank you so much! I'm having anxiety over caring for my houseplants and garden plants ! So many questions about water, sunlight, feed, winter care etc!

All you need to do is keep an eye on them. If they start to look sick, you're doing something wrong😉
