Cheal's weeping cherry tree/Apple leaf mining moth

Hi I planted a cherry tree a few months ago. It is around 3ft High with 3 branches. I've noticed lots of red trails on the leaves, which after looking up on Google are Apple leaf mining moth larvae. Any info I can find says there is no treatment for this but it won't harm an established tree. As mine is fairly newly planted with only three branches I wondered whether it will be ok. Thanks for any advice 🙂.

  • Thanks for your reply. There weren't this many holes when I posted the other day. Is this where the larvae have come out?
