Hello I suspect these ornamental grasses were not watered sufficiently over lockdown despite our neighbours best efforts. They haven’t grown this season. Is there a way to tell if they’re truly dead or worth keeping until next spring? Thanks
This is an ex-grass I think. There would have been regrowth by now. No harm in planting it in an out of the way spot to see if a spark of life might still exist in there, but I doubt it. You'd see it next spring.
Not promising looking, but you could submerge them until thoroughly soaked [a bucket would be fine] and then re pot or plant as suggested, and see what happens.
Depends on how much you like them too, as to whether you want to try and revive them
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Do you know which variety of grass it is?
