None flowering Jasminium

Hi All, I have this Jasminium which has never flowered in the 2 years I have had it. Does anyone have any ideas. I pruned it last Autumn to see if that would encourage it to bloom but it didn't. Any help greatly appreciated.

A pic would help...to see which one you have.
Some flower in winter others in summer.
You probably pruned all the flowering shoots off it.

I suspect it may be needing a bigger pot if you can't plant it in the ground Keith   :)
I think l can make out a label,  is there any further info re the name on it ?
  • Hi AnniD,
    The variety is Jasminium Officiale

  • Jasmine is famously greedy...it has done really well considering the tiny pot for so much growth. Treat it to a pot triple the size and will reward you with some flowers next year. It must take some effort to keep hydrated, so well done for looking after it this well.

Apart from the other advice of growing in the ground or re-planting in a much larger container, you need to free the growth from that tall cane and start to train it over a wider area. That way, it encourages more light and air into your plant as well as help it  branch out.

I can't add much more to that, but there's a bit more info here
