plant in rockery

if pic loaded can you please tell me what this is apparent from  bulb or corm going by sword shape leaves.. First time noticed after extensive clearing on over grown rockery. Notice the fuchsia like flowers.

    Yes there are wonderful sights in Scotland, sad to say never visited except Glasgow docks when leaving a Merchant ship Orion 1957/8. might though have friends in Stepps we both have caravans and meet in France but this year was out. stay safe.

    I was slightly puzzled by your reply, until I realised you were referring to my signature comment.
    Funnily enough - it's a quote by one of our most famous exports - The Big Yin. I'm sure you know that he's also famous for having worked in the dockyards. Small world  :)

    Yes! I think I met his brother ' Little Yin'🤣 a comment so old it has cobwebs but couldn't resist it.
