Visited beautiful gardens at Coton Manor, near Northampton today, and saw this beauty...

Thought I was being very efficient, and took a pic of the accompanying label...

Now, having looked it up, the pink flower is clearly NOT an acidanthera, bicolor or otherwise... any ideas...?

Well done you for not pinching the label.  I saw a NT thing on TV and they said they had to label using numbers and an index because of the problem of visitors taking the labels home.  Hmmm bet there's a digital scan solution here?  😁

Thanks for super-speedy response, @Hostafan1, not even half way home yet!

Never crossed my mind to take the label @Cloggie ... some people, eh...?

Sorry @Janie B wasn't suggesting you would of course.  I was appalled when I heard that and also surprised that the labels are actually there for the staff primarily rather than the visitors.  They were discussing a pollination program so it makes sense when you think about it.
