Ride-on mower - thoughts please

We have a two acre field (mainly wild grass) on a 9 degree slope and we've been looking at getting the John Deere X590. Is this a good choice?

Also, are there any battery-operated options that have decent power to get the job done?

I have a John Deere X155 and it's a piece of garbage. I wish I'd never laid eyes on it. The list of design  / usage faults is endless .

If your grass is bowling green level, if you never let the grass get over 2" long, if you never attempt to cut it except when it's absolutely bone dry, you might, just might,  be fine.

Indecision on the ride on mower prevailed and we purchased the Toro 55cm Flex-Force Recycler Battery Operated Lawn Mower, which has turned out to be a solid option for us:
