basil pests

my basil plants in the greenhouse are being attacked and can't see anything on or under the leaves, any ideas anyone ?

    That looks like flea beetle damage jnelson, you probably won't see them unless there is an infestation as they are very quick!

    thanks Herbaceous, next question, how do I deal with it ?

    Unless they become a real problem I don't bother too much, you rarely find them on leaves after picking as the little beasts jump ship pretty quickly.  One remedy, apparently, is to coat some card with sticky stuff (honey would probably do) and pull it over the plant gently. Can't vouch for that as I haven't tried it  :)

    mmm honey basil flea beetles, interesting !! think I'll stick with the usual pesto thanks :D:D
