Hi,

Have been growing what i thought was a variety of chilli plant but as its matured it does not resemble any plant i am familiar with. Its absolutely gorgeous with crimson foliage.. any ideas on what it could be?

thanks in advance.

Some sort of celosia possibly also known as Cockscomb

thanks for the reply! thats what i initially thought but until it flowers cant be confirmed. having said that what makes me think it isn’t is the colour of the leaves.. have never seen a cockscomb like that

Could it be celosia argentea var. plumosa rawail?

The only downside is you can't use it to spice up your food :)
