Weed or plant identification

hello hello this has arrived in my border for first time unsure what it is and if poison for my sniffing dog it’s a large leaf tall very thin stem growing unusually not in garden before

It's a type of Plantain, more commonly found as a lawn weed. Best removed before it seeds!
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

That looks like a plantain jonesval245, Plantago major (had to look that up
) I think.

We used to pick those plantain seedheads for our budgie when I was small.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

We used to wrap the stalks round and fire them at each other
