Peach tree pest

I grow my peach tree in the greenhouse last year I had problems with caterpillar tye larvae in my peaches I am guessing they are codling moth larve so this year I thought I would keep the glasshouse closed at night but again got them again this year, I was reading that there is to waves of them and the last wave stays in the branches till next year could anyone inform me is this is true and how can I stop it happening again next year.
