Prunus Invensii leaf colour

i bought the tree earlier this year. It is in John Innes no 3 soil.  I have noticed that the leaves are now a bi colour with a deeper green in the centre. Do I have a problem. I have read that the leaves turn yellow/orange in the autumn. Appreciate advice.
