Potting on.......

As we know, to have flowers in the garden, we need to plan ahead.  I haven't had much flowers this or last year, but am determined to have loads next year.  I have lots of lupin plantlets which are ready to either pot on or plant out.  Should I plant into bigger pots with garden soil?  Or plant out?  Or do I plant on with a mix of mpc and garden soil.............unsure as to what to do next......

I pot mine on in MPC and plant out next year, they don’t always survive the first winter here,  also they’ll be much bigger plants by next year and will hopefully be able to resist the slugs.

I think either or as you wish. Though I do the same as Lyn, aiming for bigger stronger plants to plant out in the spring. Here if I plant out now for next year, things get swamped by weeds and suffer in the winter.
