Powdery mildew on sweet peas

Hi just wondering if anyone has successfully used diluted milk to treat powdery mildew? Read that it was a fairly new discovery and have sprayed the planes this evening as didn’t think it could harm but interested to know if anyone has found it to work....or any other tips!
