I wonder if they'll lick them in restaurants😯
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Yes, it’s odd that the ones you get in the supermarkets and so on don’t suffer from it.

Maybe in the packing sheds there's one unlucky soul whose job is to lick every courgette as it rolls off the line.😜

Thanks for this link.  Followed your original warnings about this @pansyface .... and now it’s made the national news 🤣

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    😊

Perhaps my original thread should have been called Just My Lick. 🙂

My cougettes this year are Zucchini, but I got mine from another seedsman. Think I might still lick them just in case... That's if I ever get any - at the moment the slugs are eating them faster than they are growing!

If you see slugs with the squitters justice will have been done.😁

Wait, so it's only the zucchini type that this affects? Or does it affect all types (potentially), but Mr F is only recalling the zucchini type because they've specifically noted it in on that batch?

I'm a bit confused as to whether this is a general problem that's worse this year and affects all courgette types, so I need to be careful. Or it's a general problem but is specifically affecting the Mr F zucchini type, which I don't grow so don't need to be concerned about.

(I get that the underlying issue could exist in any courgette).
