Has anyone got an Id for this? It was taken at a private garden in Scotland last week. I wondered if it was that plant which has been really popular at Chelsea these last few years but whose name escapes me.

I wonder if you are thinking of Ammi?
Not got a photo of foilage as that would have helped as it reminds me more of an allium, but I dont think it's either though.

It could be an Angelica (maybe Angelica sylvestris), which has a leaf at the top of the bud sheath like that:

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thanks @BobTheGardener. I have been trawling around and wondered if it was that.
And thanks @K67 - Ammi was the name that escaped me - I knew it started with an A but got no further!

    looks like A.sylvestris to me.
He calls her the chocolate girl
Cause he thinks she melts when he touches her
She knows she's the chocolate girl
Cause she's broken up and swallowed
And wrapped in bits of silver
