Mutilated pittosporum help please

SarahlhsSarahlhs Posts: 10
Hi we have a large leaf variegated pittosporum about 8 feet tall - well it was.  It’s been very severely pruned down to a trunk and a few branches of foliage.  Its early July, any chance it will re leaf and re branch  any time soon?  Image of before and after. Anything I can do to help it along?

I’d feed with Fish, Blood & Bone, water deeply
and then give it an organic mulch. Give the root area a couple of buckets of water twice a week through the summer and it should be fine. 😊

I have a 12ft variegated pittosporum which I pruned very heavily a few years ago and then feared I'd loose it.
It did look sorry for itself for a year or so, then burst into re-growth and is now still 12ft but much bushier and a bit thinner which is just what I wanted.
As Dove says - it'll be fine if you give it just a little tlc
