No growth on choisya

About 8 odd weeks ago I planted a choisya and there has been no visible growth, it looks fine tho. Just along a bit in another border I replanted a root ball of a mature choisya that was damaged and it sprouting visible growth quite the thing.

Any idea why?

  • From my experience they tend to sit for quite a long while when planted and then starting growing. I planted a white dazzler (horrible name, lovely plant) last year and it was happily sitting doing nothing except flowering last year and this spring it has nearly doubled in size. Give it some time, it will grow.

Ah ok  so just settling in, good to know it's nothing to worry about having lost 2 plants in that time.
