What is this plant?

I found this plant growing in a pot where I originally had sewn hot cayenne pepper with no success, and then sewed sweet peppers. This plant has appeared that I can't identify in my books. I've since weeded it out but am still interested to learn what it is in case I see a return.

I get masses of the stuff in my veg/fruit beds.
I'm not sure what it is but I try and pull it up before flowering
For some reason Fat Hen comes to mind

The way it is growing, I'm thinking it could be a young Lycium Barbarum, Chinese Boxthorn.

Thank you. I did a search on the internet and the leaves look identical to fat hen (aka lamb's quarters or goosefoot, Chenopodium album) with the minute white speckling.

Thank you but it has turned out to be fat hen. Definitely a weed.
