Loganberry problems

My loganberry is growing vigorously & seems healthy. However Most of the fruit tends to be dry at the ends. Ive tried extra watering & adding potash but they are still the same. Ideas?

  • Wonder if it's temperature change related. Mine have grown lots of fruit but some had gone into the dry state you describe at the more exposed extremities. The weather has been so changeable this late spring early summer.

  • I have a 3-year-old loganberry that just produces very long canes but no fruit. Should I replace it or give it another year?

Loganberries fruit on previous year's canes. So, take care not to prune those canes away leading to loss of fruit.
