Air pots
Hi all
Has anyone used air pots in their garden for anything other than fruit or veg?
We’ve just bought our first house which has no garden but a large 4m square balcony / terrace and I’m very keen to make it a leafy terrace, as it’s quite overlooked. We haven’t had any outside space for 15 Years as always rented flats so we’re very keen to make the most of it.

The terrace is east facing and sheltered. One side of the terrace is the two storey east facing house wall and there two fences running off that - one therefore south facing and one north facing. There’s sun until around 4pm at one end, and the house wall goes into shade at around midday.
Could anyone give me some advice on whether air-pots rather than normal hard sided planters/pots would allow me to grow larger leafier plants, particularly climbers?

The problem is that they dry out in hot weather in no time. Even a thorough watering twice a day in hot weather wasn't enough
