Healthy, happy Leptospermum scoparium won't bloom
I planted this shrub at my house in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles ten years ago. It's now about 5' high and seems quite content. It faces the southwest, gets plenty of sun
and has grown from about 2" tall very robustly. It gets plenty of water and of course the climate here is ideal. The only problem is it's never bloomed and I don't understand why. At my last house I had several 50 year old, full sized leptospermum trees that bloomed every year so I was looking forward to something similar. Does anyone know what might be going on?
