Hello Victoria and welcome to the forum. I think that is a type of Spiraea called Spiraea douglasii.

IMHO a nasty invasive weed.
It sends out running roots and never seems to know when to stop.

You don't want it. boring for months . Two weeks max of flowers. Then dead flowers. for as long as you can stand them. Repeat....

Thank you for your honest replies. Fortunately it can't go very far as it is hemmed in by a boundary path. It is used with honeysuckle as screening from next door. For all its faults, it easy on the eye. V.
