ID help 2 please

Spent 4 hours digging out 2 really beastly Carex Pendula that were entwined with a few other shrubs / trees. Hoping to ID those that I’ve unearthed! Next to be freed is this fella (only a couple of those pink flowers at the minute)

Looks like a Potentilla shrub. Potentilla Fruticosa.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
