  • We had angel wings in a pot for 2 years. Wonderful plant but in end it rotted as the pot had blocked :(

same as you the leaves got munched a lot. We use Sluggo now and it seems to work well 👍 buy off amazon

They look lovely in shallow planters. Perhaps being in the soil doesn't suit them? They don't need lots of water, just to be kept moist. I've posted info in other threads about these plants. If you search Angel's Wings I'm sure that you will find them. My planters are on slate so slugs tend to stay away from them. The plant in the foreground is 3 years old and has lived outside all the time. The only things I do are water them and remove the dead leaves. Next year it might cut off the side shoots and the top and make more plants....then give most away!

I also have a problem with my angel wing plant. Something is stripping off the ‘fur’ and eating the leaves. I cannot see any slugs or caterpillars. I have sprayed with Resolva and removed the affected leaves. It was beautiful when I first bought it a few weeks ago but is getting smaller and smaller.
  • I have removed mine from the ground and put into a large pot up off the ground and it seems to be doing ok now x
