Large pot needs filling north east corner any ideas?

I am trying to fill a large plant terracotta pot that sits on the front of the house, at the side of the bay window.  Items the morning sun then through to lunchtime then is in the shade.  I have tried all sorts of different plants in this spot but nothing seems to survive.  Nothing climbing the pot is about 36inch diameter, and about the same height.  Any suggestions for a shrub that I can undeplant?

My front is the same I had a skimmia rubella as the main shrub, some ivy to trail, small fern and a white heather plus white cyclamen and hellebore for winter and replaced these in summer with white begonia or busy lizzies and would have loved some heuchera but had to take out everything due to vine weevil and have now moved a topiary elephant and have recently added small white begonia for summer.

  • Loving the elephant, was thinking of doing something like that but the pot is big so it would have to be big. Thanks for the thoughts.
