Osteospermum flowers dying?

Good evening fellow gardeners! So I’m just deadheading my Osteospermums and was wondering if the drooping/shrivelled flowers are dead, or if not why are they dropping? Many thanks

I think they are just going over so i would dead head, the rest of the plant looks OK.
The heat a sun we have been having has made the flowers die more quickly this year  :/

Okay thanks for the advice madpenguin, I’ve never grown osteospermum before so wanted to ask before I started chopping away haha.

On a side note, do you grow foxgloves?
