HELP, Gerbera Daisys, petals turning brown

Help! recently my gerberas petals have started to brown and i’ve tried looking and i don’t know why? we’ve had some rainfall recently and the flowers were fine up until then, any idea on what’s happening? and what i should do?

    Was the rain VERY heavy? Or hail, even? The damage does look like the petals have been hit with drops of something. I would just remove unsightly blooms and see if the new flowers are ok.

    Yes the rain was heavy for a day, and we’ve just had bad rain recently, i’ll trim the off, any advice on how to prevent this in the future?

    It's never happened to mine so I'm not sure. Is it in a container and if so could it be sheltered at all when the weather is really rough? See what others suggest!

    Thank you so much for the advice, i’ll just do the obvious thing and bring them in when it rains too much in future!
