I keep passing a garden with a lovely shrub in it.  It's only about a foot high and two across.  It has long stems of pretty pink flowers that start at the bottom of the stem and die off as you go up the stem so the last flower is at the tip.  It looks like a helianthemum flower but the leaves seem narrower and the stems don't really match helianthemum.  It flowered in late May/beginning of June and has gone over now.  Does anyone recognise it?

I would say that’s Helianthemum.  I have 2 different types, one pale pink, the other dark pink, but both beautiful when in flower and very easy to grow. They come back and spread each year.

Thanks enilorac2.  I also thought Helianthemum but one of the shrubs has a gorgeous pale pink flower that's a double and really small and I can't find anything like it online so I thought perhaps it wasn't a helianthemum?
