A plant begining with J

I've decided to try and create an alphabet (a-z) of plants i can find in the Scottish Borders.  I've come up against my first hurdle with J, does anyone have any suggestions for a plant (preferably a flower) with either a common name or a Latin name i could find easily enough in the surrounding landscapes or gardens?

Below is my Instagram, I'm up to F so far

Hello Alastair, welcome to the forum. Judas tree - Latin name Cercis siliquastrum - gorgeous.
    Junipers.

  • The Judas tree looks fab, and i think it would photograph really nicely.  I'm going to investigate the local gardens to see if i can find one...

Juncus, the rush, should be easy to locate.

Edit: sorry Fairygirl. As usual, I am slow on the uptake.

  • I'm going to look for Juncus after work, i'm hoping i can find a patch that would be nice to photograph.  Grasses and rushes can be really hard to get a nice photo of
