Osteospermum, dividing and re planting help

Hi everyone,
I have an osteospermum plant which has overgrown its space, how do I go about dividing and re planting elsewhere and do I have to wait until the flowering season is over to do this?

Hi Niki, I would be tempted to try and take cuttings first. Is it an annual or perennial do you know?

If it's very large and in the ground, there may be some stems with adventitious roots. If you find them, you can cut off the stem and pot it up.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Ok thank you, I will try this! There are some leggy bits coming off it so I’ll try with those!

Hi, thank you, I’ll do that and put some into small pots and see how it goes. It’s a perennial. Thanks again!
