Not my garden but a place we walk, there are these magnificent trees and I think they could be a type of Red Wood, could anyone be precise as to what they are?
As you can see the bark is a rusty red colour, it seems to peel revealing an even redder interior. The bark is deep and soft, you could easily give it a light punch with out hurting your hand.

The cones for such a giant are small.
